Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Wave Media LLC (“Next Step Claim,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information through nextstepclaim.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide: first and last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, city, state, ZIP code, and details about your accident (whether you were at fault, whether you were injured, whether you have an attorney, accident type, injury type, accident date and state).
Information collected automatically: IP address and approximate location derived from it, device, operating system and browser type, JavaScript status, referring URL, pages visited, UTM/ad-click identifiers (such as gclid and fbclid), and cookies. We use ActiveProspect TrustedForm to record your visit and consent for compliance purposes. We may use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics) to measure and promote the Site.
How we use information
To review your request and connect you with independent attorneys, law firms, legal intake services (including HQ Intake) and the Marketing Partners listed on our Marketing Partners page; to contact you by phone, text and email as you consented; to verify and document consent; to prevent fraud; to improve and advertise the Site; and to comply with law.
How we share information
We share the information you submit with participating attorneys, law firms, legal intake services and Marketing Partners so they can contact you about your inquiry. We may share information with service providers (hosting, analytics, consent verification), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your information for money; however, sharing with Marketing Partners may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Approximate location
We derive your approximate location (city and state) from your IP address using a third-party IP-geolocation service. We use it to personalize the page and to suggest your city and accident state in the form, which you can change. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Calls, texts and your choices
Calls may be recorded or monitored. You may opt out of texts by replying STOP, or request help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke consent at any time by any reasonable means, including emailing us. Email opt-outs can be made using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information. California residents see our California Privacy notice. To make a request, contact contact@nextstepclaim.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission is 100% secure. We retain information as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and compliance obligations.
Children
The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 18 for submissions).
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy and will post the updated version here. Questions? Email contact@nextstepclaim.com or Call Now.
